|Address||Eden Mountain Estate, Lauchernalp|
Picturesque Swiss estate embedded in nature
Today, time is one of the most valuable assets: the last luxury that cannot be bought. In the Swiss canton of Valais, there is a place where clocks tick differently. A place that preserves the purity of the Alps and seems to have fallen out of time and space. A place that represents the high art of simplicity, where every single moment passes as if in slow motion.
The prestigious Lauchernalp is perched 2,000 meters above sea level in one of the most intact, undeveloped mountainous areas of southern Switzerland. A UNESCO-World Heritage Site, Lötschental protects the golden eagle which makes its home here. The ski area rises from a height of 1,950 to 3,111 meters: an El Dorado for off-piste ski and snowboard enthusiasts and chalet lovers. 55 kilometers of slopes wind down the mountain in every direction and at all difficulty levels. At the top of the 3,000 meter glacier is the highest winter hiking trail in Europe with breathtaking
views of more than forty 4,000 meter Alpine peaks. In autumn, residents have access to a private hunting ground through a local hunting club. In summer the area is perfect formountain biking, climbing and hiking.
26 single and double chalets, 130 to 277 m 2 , two-stories with a garden terrace and an extended basement
You can reach the resort’s south-facing luxury chalets year-round by car, cable car and helicopter.
All apartments and detached chalets are energy-efficient and offer the latest technical standards. Architecturally, the resort remains loyal to its Alpine roots and combines the traditional wooden structure with modern, open-room concepts. Large windows display panoramic mountain views and allow brilliant light to filter into the high-ceilinged living spaces. The furnishings are complemented by luxurious bathrooms and high-quality surfaces made of wood and natural stone.
